We need your help to go to Samara, Russia

Cindy and I are flying to Samara, Russia, on May 12. Here is more information about the city of Samara. We are going to be there for two weeks, teaching and encouraging Christians who are new in the faith and talking to people interested in Jesus Christ and the Bible. We will also be there to encourage our good friends and coworkers Mitch and Naomi Propst, who for the past ten years have poured out their hearts and lives for this church and this city. This dear brother and this precious sister in Christ are outstanding examples of what it means to live for Jesus. God's church in Samara is growing, both in numbers and in maturity. We have several photos of the Christians in Samara. Please take a moment to take a look at your brothers and sisters.

One of my main tasks while with the Samara church will be to teach lessons on "Our Relationships in Christ." I will be speaking every evening for a week with lessons straight out the the New Testament. I will also be working closely with Vlodya Chooki, the part-time Russian preacher that works with the congregation. Here's more about Vlodya and his wife.

Cindy is going to be working closely with Naomi and the other women of the congregation. I have been encouraging her to search for ways the church there can help the poor, which is one of Cindy's special gifts.
