    Steve, congratulations on your great efforts to help folks study the Bible. I attend Sunset C of C and we are beginning a study of Revelations. I told Bill I would like to purchase the e-book. He told me I should receive a note from you with instructions. I did not receive the note. My question is can I just purchase the book and download it from your website?     I have just discovered your site: Deeper Study. I appreciate the work you have done in gathering sites/articles on topics of key interest to disciples and in sharing them with the Internet community. I plan to explore and use them in my personal study and will share them with others.

    I read with great interest your article “Surprise! What’s going to happen? Part 7.” Since I am now 72, this is a subject I am keenly interested in and have been studying. The topic is fascinating, and the more I learn, the more I want to know. I appreciate your insights. I don’t know why there is not more preaching/teaching on the subject. God’s work in creating and shaping our afterlife and in the creation of a new heaven and earth to share with us should be a key element of preaching and teaching programs of the Church. It would help to create more commitment, joy, hope, witness and unity among God’s people. However, I can’t remember when I have heard a sermon, or been part of class, in which this was the topic for discussion. Most church members hope for a life after they die, but have no clue as to what that entails.

    On another note, my wife and I attended my 50th anniversary class reunion at A.C.U. this year, and it was quite a treat. Most of the people there I had not seen for 50 years! I told Lois, “This is a preview of our after life and some of the ones we will be spending eternity with.” Not a bad group to be with.
